The heart of the Adams County Chapter of Trout Unlimited is the members and supporters who join us at events and activities and roll up their sleeves to make a local restoration project or a youth program happen. When you support our work by volunteering at our events or contributing to our fundraising efforts, you make it all possible. Consider pitching-in to help: make our community’s outdoor environment more enjoyable to residents and visitors, our youth experience the benefits of outdoor activities, and improve the ecology of our waterways!
Support Our Work – Everything we accomplish is thanks to you! When you attend a fundraising event or make a donation to the Adams County Chapter, you are joining hundreds of other supporters committed optimists who have stepped up to be champions for their rivers and fisheries.
Attend an Event – With a variety of events to choose from – ranging from our annual youth fishing derby, to fishing classes, to hands-on volunteer days, you are sure to find something of interest. Our event calendar has free opportunities to come out and join us. We encourage everyone to bring new anglers and conservationists with them to introduce them to our chapter!
Volunteer Locally – Whether you roll up your sleeves to plant trees along Conewago Creek, or bring your family out to help clear the Zeigler Mill Walking Trail, or show up with your friends and family to help teach others how to fish, or step up to lead by joining one of our committees or the board of directors, Adams County Trout Unlimited needs you! As an all-volunteer, local nonprofit, we rely on people like you to keep our community strong and our impact growing. Join us as a volunteer!
